Civic Groups | Aroostook County, Maine

Community involvement is integral to the future of our region. We believe that by engaging community members in our efforts, we increase our ability to support degree attainment and job growth as well as reversing outward migration. As a civic group, you have a deep connection to the area you serve, which affords you unique insight into the needs of your community. As an organization committed to our communities, we invite you to partner with us.

Help us get the word out about this effort! We would love to talk with your group about AAI and our programs, including the Internship Hub, Community Action teams, our scholarship program and our other events.

AAI hosts several events throughout the year, including the County Service Challenge. The County Service Challenge is a service-based event that will engage students, community members, civic groups and business leaders in community service projects throughout the County. Members of your civic organization can volunteer as site leaders at any of our project locations.

•Sponsor us by giving a one-time or monthly donation
•Host a community fundraising event in support of AAI

In today's economy, many students struggle to meet the financial demands of a postsecondary education, and this scholarship may provide the funding needed for a county resident to pursue and/or continue their postsecondary program, graduate and become an outstanding citizen of the county.
